Job Description
As the Branding Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of branding and visual identity to ensure consistent and impactful representation of the event. This individual will oversee the development and implementation of master branding guidelines, manage project schedules and timelines, coordinate with vendors, and ensure seamless execution of signage and wayfinding strategies across various event venues.
1.Master Branding Guidelines Development:
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop comprehensive master branding guidelines aligned with the event's objectives.
- Oversee strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with branding goals through regular cross-functional meetings.
2.Project Management:
- Develop and manage project schedules and timelines to optimize efficiency and meet deliverables.
- Provide direction, assign tasks, supervise activities, and set priorities to ensure timely project completion.
3.Vendor Management:
- Manage the RFP process, change requests, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and onboarding procedures for new vendors.
- Identify branding opportunities through site visits and ensure compliance with sport-specific guidelines.
4.Logistical Coordination:
- Coordinate logistical details with internal teams, Branding Supervisors, Venue Managers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth execution of installation and dismantling activities, including timelines, locations, and special considerations.
5.Documentation and Compliance:
- Document the project journey comprehensively, including key stages such as handover, installation, dismantling, and post-event maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to agreed-upon standards, guaranteeing consistent branding and optimized resource allocation.
6.Wayfinding & Signage Planning:
- Plan and execute wayfinding and signage operations, ensuring effective project planning and management.
- Manage validation, production, and delivery for Overlay Look and Wayfinding & Signage (WFS) scope.
7.Collaboration with Event Officials:
- Collaborate with event officials to establish requirements, deliverables, and scope for non-competition venues.
- Develop a dressing strategy for Team Base Camps hotels, covering design, production, installation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
8.Tournament Execution:
- Lead the signage and dressing operation across all Team Base Camps during the tournament.
- Participate in tournament planning and execution, coordinating bump-in and bump-out operations.
9.Installation Management:
- Manage and deliver branding installation schedule.
- Oversee the installation, set up, and deinstallation of branding elements.
Skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and deliverables effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools and a keen eye for branding and visual aesthetics.
- Familiarity with RFPs, change requests, BOQs, and vendor onboarding processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
